Privacy Policy

What this site collects, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is a short read, because the site collects very little.

1. Who we are

Valyrion is operated by Marlin OS ApS (CVR 42268240), a Danish company. We are the data controller for personal data collected on this website, valyrion.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this marketing website only. It describes what we collect when you visit valyrion.com or contact us through it, and what we do with it.

It does not cover the Valyrion platform. Data our partners entrust to Valyrion in the platform (for example their customers’ data) is processed on the partner’s behalf and governed by the data processing terms in our partner agreements, not by this policy.

3. What we collect

Two things, and only two:

  • What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the fields you fill in: your name, email address, the topic, your message, and, if you choose to provide it, your company name.
  • Standard technical logs. Like every website, the infrastructure that serves valyrion.com records technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) used to operate and secure the site.

4. What we don't do

This website sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising scripts, and loads no social-media pixels. We do not sell or share your personal data, and nothing here follows you around the internet. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

We also collect no page statistics. There is no analytics script on this site at all — not an anonymous one, not a cookieless one. If that ever changes, this page will say what we use before the script ships.

5. How we use your information

We use contact-form submissions for exactly one purpose: to read your message and respond to it. If your inquiry leads to a commercial conversation, we keep the correspondence as part of that dialogue.

The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website and responding to inquiries).

6. Who processes it

Contact-form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Microsoft Azure (Communication Services, acting as our processor). The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which serves the site and processes the technical log data described above. Within Valyrion, your message is read only by the people who handle inquiries.

We do not pass your data to anyone else.

7. How long we keep it

Contact inquiries are kept as ordinary business correspondence, for as long as the conversation (or the business relationship it leads to) is active, and afterwards only as long as we have a legitimate reason or legal obligation to retain it. Technical logs are kept for 30 days.

One exception, so it is not a surprise: if the email carrying your message to us cannot be delivered, the message itself is written to those technical logs, so that we can still read and answer it rather than losing it silently. That copy is deleted with the rest of the logs after 30 days.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.

Email ld@valyrion.com to exercise any of these, and we respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) or your local EU supervisory authority.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date. This version is effective as of August 27, 2026.
